My recommendation on starting your website building Business.

Start by buying Niche Horde.  Get yourself three good niches to work on.  You will want at least ten related keywords to build pages on in each of your niches.  Niche Horde will explain what good keywords are and how to find them.  You will also be able to use Niche Horde to pick your related keywords.

Register your first domain and buy Hosting.  I like both Bluehost and Hostmonster because you can build 100 WordPress websites on either of these with just one hosting account.  You need to have one MySQL database per WordPress site.  I believe you will pay between six and 8 dollars a month.  You get a lot better deal if you buy in advance for one or two years.

Install WordPress on your first Domain

WordPress is a very simple website and blog building software.  It is loved by Google because the navigation is simple and the whole system is set up to be very easy to use.  No HTML, CSS, or programming  knowledge necessary.  I won’t go into detail on how to install WordPress on your Domain because your Web Host will often have a video on how to do it.  The first time is a little bit confusing but you can be on the phone to your web host and they will walk you step by step through it.  It normally takes me less than ten minutes to set up a new Website with WordPress.

Start Building Pages

Build all of your pages with 300 to 600 words. It is very easy building pages on your site.  Writing articles is pretty simple, one way is to go to Ezine Articles and read articles on the same subject.  Then start writing.  Do not copy.  If you read three different articles on your topic you should be able to talk about your topic for 400 words.  While reading the articles you can type down ideas for titles for paragraphs.

SEO

SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization.  There are two types of SEO, on page and off page. On page SEO is just what you can do to the page as you build it to make it friendly to Google and the other search engines.

On Page SEO

On Page Search Engine Optimization is quite simple.  You want to have 2% to 5% of the words on the page be your page keywords.  As you are building your page WordPress will tell you how many words are on the page right below the window you are writing in.  If you are shooting for 3% and your page has 500 words then your keyword needs to be on the page 15 times 3% x 5 = 15.  Do not over do it.  Keep your articles making sense.

Put your keyword int the title of the page.

Put your keyword in at least one paragraph title.  My writing style is to title most paragraphs and then write two to three sentences per paragraph.  Leave space between paragraphs.

If you have a picture on the page put your keyword in the alt”" text for the picture.

Have a link going to a different page that has your keyword in it.

Off Page SEO

Basically this is getting links pointed at your page from other websites.  Until you get several pages up, do not worry about this.  Build the site then promote the site.

The goal of earning a good living from building websites is easily reachable.  It took me a little over two years.

What If you get Hung up?
Most people get hung up on one of the things they have to do to build websites that get traffic and make money.  Finding niches is the first hang up then writing articles scares a lot of people, then how do I get links and get my website ranked is another fear.

Where should you start?

What is the SOC mean in the Niche Hoard Results?  It is a simple evaluation of the competition for the number one spot in a google search for your keyword.  Rather than take the gross number that shows up when you search in Google for the keyword the SOC is the number of web pages that have a link to them with the keyword in the Anchor Text.

Anchor text is the words that are highlighted in blue when you are reading a web page. If these links have the keyword in the link they are very powerful in telling Google what the page is about. For instance in this sentence Niche Horde is a link to more information about Niche Horde and is the anchor text of the link.

The right direction

Do Not oversell.  Give information.  Give all the different views and sides of the item you are promoting.  Negatives when brought up in advance are not a problem later.

Tell the facts.

Give a free gift or bonus for signing up for your newsletter.

Give free information before you sell.  Give them your best then sell the rest.  They feel guilty and really like you when you give them your best without charging you.

I have the problem of when I think something is good I want to overshare the positives.

This is all about keyword selection.  Do not overthink this to begin with.  Find a Guru you agree with and follow their advice.  There are thousands of ideas that will work.  You must get started and build and then link.

I will not put a lot of time and energy into a project that is based on someone else owning my content. Thousands of people have had their Squidoo pages deleted in the last six months.

There are two ways to link with Tipdrop.

Tipdrop Sidebar links

You can add links to your sidebar.  These links will show up on every Tipdrop page that you initiate.  If you add a tip to someone elses tip your sidebar links will not show when this tip is viewed.  I recommend putting up a good description when building your sidebar ink because these show up in Google quickly.  My sidebar links have shown up quickly and some have even ranked well for the keyword.  Tipdrop.com is quick and simple to sign up for.  Add your name, a nickname, and an email address and you are set.

You can put a link directly in one of your tips.  I only recommend doing this once in a while but any tipdrop that gets a lot of tips on it can handle some more links.

Linking with TipDrop

Tipdrop is a new website that was set up by Jonathon Leger.  This site has several appealing features.

You can build pages that rank well in Google.

• You can get free one way links to your website.
• The pages you build there will rank quickly.
• You can post succinct tips on any subject.
• You can earn Adsense income from the pages you create.
• You can earn Adsense income from the pages of people you refer.
• It is very quick and easy to start.

Success Steps with Tipdrop.com

1. Go to the Tipdrop and add your email address and create your User name.
2. Then go to Settings and add your Google Adsense account number if you have one.
3. Go to Links and put up to ten links to webpages.  These can be a new page you just put up or any page you want to rank better.  If you put a good description of the web page it helps to make the link even more powerful.
4. Post a couple of tips.  Anything you are knowledgeable about is fair game.
5. Go to the Home page of Tipdrop and look at some of the latest tips.  If you click on the headline of any of the tips you can add your own tip on that subject also.
6. Start Following other Tipdrop.com posters.  I started following other posters and sent them an email stating that I had just upped one of their tips and that I have started following them.
7. Upload a picture or cartoon of yourself and post a quick profile about yourself.
8. Goto the Home page of Tipdrop and read the post Four Simple Steps to success with Tipdrop!

This is really simple when you are building a local business website.  The on page optimization is pretty simple.  Depending on how competitive your market is will tell you how many links need to be built to your site.

Local Search Tips to be found by Google

• Be sure to get the Business name and address in Text on every page so the search engines can see it.  More than once is better.
• Full Business contact address with Phone and zip on every page.
• Build a Facebook page and get links to it and to your web site.
• You want to build text links to your pages that have the locality and specialty of the business.  Such as Missoula Bicycle Shop
• Get links from local blogs and Community websites.
• Use local landmarks in your articles. Write articles about local landmarks.
• Look at google local listing  you can add pictures and coupons This is almost a mini website all by itself and it is free. Google ***Local Business Center***
• Free Online local listings are also available from Yahoo and from MSN.

Local Search is the hot new area of Search Engine Optimization as lots of small businesses start to want to get online.

I have changed my thoughts on this program.  Squidoo has done a revamp of what they will allow on their website.  They have deleted thousands if not hundreds of thousands of web pages.   Almost all of the work I have put into Squidoo was erased.  I believe that Squidoo will be better in the future because of this but since a lot of the strategy with One Week Marketing revolves around Squidoo, I no longer recommend this product.  Thanks, Rick

Pot Pie Girl gives us her system for using mainly free methods to make a very good living online.  She uses a domain name without a website and free websites like Squidoo to promote affiliate products online.  This is my One Week Marketing Overview.

Jennifer shows how she uses free research tools to find a product to promote, then she builds pages on Squidoo, Hubpage, Ezine Articles and other sites to build authority for her pages.

Can you really build a money making project in only seven days?
Yes.  The goal is to get highly targeted traffic to your page.   You do not need a lot of traffic if that traffic is targeted correctly.

Will my 1 Week Project replace my Day Job?
No, Building a full time income online probably will not happen by doing one seven day project.  If you build one a week for a year or two you may be able to replace your day job income if you are as focused as Pot Pie Girl it will replace your day job by a large margin.

This will be a basic start to see if the project is worth developing.  If the project does well as it ages you can build it bigger.  Setting it up as a seven day project puts a nice doable time period to work on a project.  Then on to the next, leave this one to age like a Google wine.  A small investment in a project to see if it works.  If it works then you will continue to expand this project but in the mean time you will go on to other projects.

Do I get to see Examples?
Yes, you get to see the articles that were built during the making of  this program.  They are still live and working for Nick T.  Pot Pie Girl also shows a couple of her live projects.  This is truly unusual.  Most of the internet marketing plans I have read show screenshots but do not give multiple examples of the system in use.  This is another great feature of this plan.

Does this only work on Internet Marketing?
No, this system will work on almost any niche.  Nick T used it in the Golf niche which is a very popular, very crowded market.  Golfers spend a lot of money on their hobby, but they have a lot of different options on where to spend it.

How Expensive is OWM?

I believe it is way under priced.  I believe it is a great value, it is not a Monthly program where you need to pay $30 a month or $2000 for this Massive “Secret” Training.

How Expensive is it to use the System?
After buying One Week Marketing you can build a new project for less than $10 each.  After your first project or two you should be totally financed by the profit from your first or second project.

Are you willing to Learn and Work?
If you just want to learn, this is great, if you want to learn and put into action what you learn this is even better because you will make money with this system.

**Newbie is a person who has unsuccessfully tried to make money online.  Many have tried for years and spent way more than they have made.

I consider One Week Marketing the Newbie Cure. Work this plan and you are pretty well guaranteed to build a successful project.  Work it again and you are twice as likely, three times and you are almost guaranteed to succeed.  This is my opinion.
