Forum Linking

This is a very powerful linking system that only takes some time.

I build a profile for every website I am going to promote.

I get a new email from Gmail to use and I come up with a unique word to use as my “Username”

Lets say I am working on a Website on Credit Cards.  I will pick a Username that has no meaning like Gcredit12.

I will make a complete person– Gary Credit   Helena, Mt 59601 born 6/13/1964

For Personal Questions His grandfather was Jon Broken Credit
His dog was Sue

I like to have at least 8 letters, at least one Capital and one number in my Username.  I will also have a password with the same specs  –Gram1234–  or something like that.

Checking on my Username
Now I do a search on Google for “Gcredit12″ and I find there are no exact matches and only two matches for a general search.  I like it when the new username is not used in any website.  This way as my forum linking project goes forward I will know how many of my links are showing up by doing a search for –Gcredit12–

I will then get a Gmail account with Gcredit12 @ g … and use the password.

Now all the forums I sign up for will have the same “Username” and password as I used for my Gmail account.

Lets Get Started building Forum Links

I just did a simple search in Google for –skiing Forum–  I clicked on the first one that came up.  I then clicked on “Join Now”

Now I add my Username, email, and whatever else they want.  Any information they want I will add to my profile.   I will use this same information in all the forums I fill out with this profile.

I store my profile for each website on a private page on the website that I am using this profile to promote.  I also make a list of the forums that I have built a profile for on that same page.  You do not need to do this because after a week when you search in Google for your profile name all the sites you have created a profile will show up.

Next go to your email that you put in and click on the link to activate.  Sometimes this will end up in your Junkmail so check there too.

Now go to “My Profile”

In the center a bit down from the top you will see “Edit Community Profile” click on this.

Put your website in and I like to fill in some of the boxes.

Now if you want you can put another website link or two in your  Signature.

I normally just write a little something and add another link on my signature.  Many people will put a couple of different links here.

Now I go to the forum and find a thread that I can make an intelligent post on and make a post.  Often I will ask a question.

Now I also am sure to put this forum address into my page on the website I am promoting.  This is on the same private page that I have my profile in.

I have gotten at least two deep links to my site.  Many forums have very high Google page rank.

I hope this was helpful.  I have found it takes longer for Yahoo to find these links than it does for them to find links from comments but some people say that these links are much stronger.  I have not tested it.  It takes me a lot longer to get a forum link than a comment link.  You can go back to the forum and sign in and make a comment and you will get another link from your signature.

Giving a boost to a new website

I have always had trouble wandering around in forums.  I have built over 100 links in forums now for different websites.  There are three main designs of forums and you will get used to their navigation pretty quickly.  This is a very powerful linking system.  If you want to add a link to a new website at any time you can go in and rewrite your Signature.  This will add links to your new website.  It will remove the links from your previous comments and add the link you just changed to.

Changing your Signature

If you change the links in your signature it will change the links on all the entries on this forum.  If you delete a link in your signature it will delete the link that is on your previous comments.

The Forum Linking Method is really good at getting deep links to your websites.  It can take a long time for some of these links to show up in the search engines.  I have found that the signature links on a thread show up quicker than the website link in your profile.

My Recommendation
Build a profile, put a link in your signature if allowed and make a comment or two.  Then move on to the next forum. Come back in a month or a week and make some more comments.  At this time you could add another link to your signature also.

This is work but it gives you a variety of links and you can completely control the anchor text of the links.  I am an avid Pro football fan and I have gone to many of the pro football forums and created profiles.  Since I am fairly knowledgeable about football this has been really easy.
