This is a funny one. I have an Ezine Article account. It is a lot of work to add one ezine article to my account. Adding articles to EzineArticles I believe is one of the best links you can possibly get to your website. If you have not done this yet go do it now. This is an unpaid for total plug.
Christopher Knight is my hero. He has the top rated article directory. I have blogged back and forth with him a few times and I believe he is a good guy.
I would get a huge kick out of Chris Knight making a comment on this article.

Ezine Article Comments
Step One
If I am working on the “Credit Card” niche I first go to Ezine artitcles.
Step Two
Search in EA for “Credit Cards”
Step Three
I open the first article I find interesting or related to the page I am currently promoting on my website. I add a good comment to this page. I do not think I have ever had one of these comments turned down.
Simple and with the internet horsepower of EA this is simple and it works.
Another thought is open up the first article then go down to the bottom of the page where EA shows the most viewed articles in this subject. Comment on this powerful article. It is already a leading article in this subject. Get a link from it can only help.

In the time it takes me to get one Ezine Article Links approved I can submit 10 comments with my links.

As long as your comments ADD VALUE to the discussion or finds a way to add value to our users experience, this is all good.
It’s a fine line though if you’re doing this activity to ‘game the system’.
Lastly, keep in mind that all of these links are NOFOLLOW rel attributed on purpose to discourage comments that are only being submitted to game the search engines. Anything bad for the search engines is bad for us.

I know EA is a really great source of getting your valuable links to your site, I’m planning on starting writing articles for it asap.I’m looking for a better writer than me actually.But I’ll start off myself If I can’t find one.
I’ve been trying to find simple ways to to build links. Thanks for the suggestions! I’m looking forward to trying it out.
That article directory i sprobably the best one out there. You better be carefull what types of sites you are going to market through the articles cause i heard many people have not gotten their articles approved when they had links to thin affiliate sites with no real content.

Gaming the search engines is what Article Marketing and Ezine articles is all about. I think we all have different ideas about gaming. I do believe that anything you put up on the web should be relevant and not just for increasing your rank to your websites.

EzineArticles.com has recently lost PR on most of the articles posted there! Seems to be the trend with Google.

I would also suggest using something like JetSpinner – http://tr.im/jetspinner – which can submit your article to 600+ article directories with a few clicks. It’s very easy.
I must say this is one of the best link building ideas. Easy to build links with this idea. Same goes for Blog Comments.

I agree with Chris that as long as your comments are adding value to the discussion or finds a way to add value to our users experience, then this will benefit everyone. I also think we all have different ideas about gaming. And again I firmly believe that anything you put up on the web should be relevant to that subject or discussion.
Wow this is a really cool idea. Ezine Articles has articles about every topic and so you should be able to get relevant links easily. Also the link is approved by Ezine Articles as long as it is relevant. Unlike some blog owners who do not approve competitor’s links.

Thx for the post. I actually submitted a few articles to ezine and they denied it. I think they hate my wrighting because I changed it twice and it was rejected twice. I’ll have to try a different article and see because articles seem promising.

I strongly recommend that you turn the No Follow off in your comment section. I’ll watch Google Webmaster Tools, and if the links don’t show up after a couple of weeks — I won’t go back to that blog again. Another suggestion: you should have a Top Commentator widget installed. Do Follow and Top Commentator will ensure that you have a successful blog with lots of readers!

Thanks for the tip Rick. I’ve been using this strategy the past few days and I think it’s working. It’s much easier than writing an article. But reading other good articles gives me ideas for new posts on my own blog or fresh articles of my own.
