			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It used to take a bit of work to make a Simple WordPress Static Home Page.</p>
<p>With the newer releases of WordPress it has become a simple couple of clicks in your Dashboard.</p>
<ul>
<li>Click on Dashboard</li>
<li>Click on Settings</li>
<li>Click on Reading</li>
<li>on the line that reads <strong>&#8220;Blog pages show at most&#8221;</strong> change the 10 to one.</li>
<li>Go back to your Dashboard and edit the post you want to be your home page.  Open your desired page then edit  <strong>&#8220;Visibility: Public&#8221;</strong> by clicking on the  <strong>&#8220;Stick this post to the front page&#8221;</strong> box.</li>
<li>Save the page</li>
</ul>
<p>You now have a static home page website.  I like to change the 10 post to two or three instead of One which will show the last couple of articles you posted after the sticky page you set as your home page.</p>
