Pot Pie Girl’s One Week Marketing Plan comes in Five Parts.

The One Week Marketing Guide Book.

A Conversation with Nick.

The One Week Marketing Action Plan.

The One Week Marketing-Mind Maps.

The One Week Marketing Check List.

This article is going to focus on The One Week Marketing Action Plan. This is what most internet marketing educational products are lacking. This is where the pie meets the lips.

Step by Step, Day by Day what to do. You will learn what to do and how to do it in the other parts of the program. This is the Schedule of what you need to be doing on a daily basis. Also this is the basic order that you need to do for the next 7 days to start your journey to making money online.

Nike had the slogan for a long time–Just Do It. Just do What? That is the problem most of us face on a daily basis. What should I be doing today to be taking my online business forward. Buy the One Week Marketing by Jennifer Ledbetter (better known as Pot Pie Girl) and work the plan. It has been proven over and over to be the basic steps to success. This is the call to action for you on a daily basis.

Way underpriced by the way. I believe she could easily double the price of this package and it would still be a bargain. If I were Jennifer I would not sell it as cheap as she does. Check out One Week Marketing.

Five Pages to your Success
This schedule is only five pages of todo’s. You will take several hours to accomplish the list the first time you do it. This Plan is designed to be a basis for your online success. If you have an hour or two a day to work on this for a year you should be able to get over 50 projects done.

I printed out the Five Parts of One Week Marketing.

The old Nike slogan. Yes this is way too old hat but “Just Do It.”

There are two keys to Internet success.
Build pages and build links.
Then…
Build more pages and build more links.

Once you have over 1000 links and 100 pages built you will start to get some traffic. Magic isn’t necessary, it just takes work. To become a journeyman you need to walk first. To become a master you need to learn the basics.

Picking your Niche
Find a niche you want to work on. Remember this does not need to be the do all and end all niche. You are an apprentice. You will make a lot of mistakes but in time the good decisions you make will overcome your mistakes.

There are a lot of ways to pick your keywords and your niches. You can spend months figuring out the exact mix and match. Don’t do it.

Use the Google Keyword tool
Put in a general word. It will spit out a bunch of keywords with your word in it. Now go to the “columns to display” and add “Estimated Avg CPC.” I will only work on keywords that are over $1.00. I will normally only take on keywords that have over 3000 searches per month. Make a list of 20 of these keywords from 3000 to 20,000 searches per month.

Now put these keywords into a basic Google search one at a time. Look at the results. Here is where you need to be using SEO for Firefox. Download and install SEO for Firefox now, this is the most informative plugin you will find. I have directions on this SEO for Firefox page.

I only show the Google PR, Y! links, Y! page links, Alexa. I hide all the rest so it doesn’t take long for my search pages to load.

If there are a couple of pages in the top 10 that have less than 20 Yahoo Page links then this keyword is a go for me. If there are a couple of pages in the top 5 that is even better.

Your site does not need to be the prettiest thing you have ever built. Grab a WordPress Theme and learn to use it. We are here to learn, then teach.

Build pages and build links.
Build links directly to the individual pages in your site not just the home page.

It will be a while before you get much traffic. Don’t sweat it. Keep working at it and the more links and the more pages eventually you will get your traffic. The secret to Guaranteed Internet Success is quite simple. Build pages on keywords and build Links.

Why I write.

I have become an avid writer. I started writing in the winter of 2004 and it has grown.

I Write to Learn!

I am an avid learner and have found one of the easiest ways for me to learn a lot about a subject. Create a website/Blog and write about it.

I have learned something from every article I have written.

Sometimes the performance of the article was my lesson. Sometimes the thought process I used while writing the article was the gain. And sometimes the research to write the article is where I learned the most.

Article Performance in Article Directories
What is the end result you want from your article. Normally I have two different objectives when writing an article to post to in an Article Directory. One objective is to get as much traffic as possible to my site directly from the article. The other objective is to get as many links as possible to my site.

I have written some articles that do a good job of sending people to my website. Some convert as many as 40 percent of the people who read the article to going to my website.

Link Building Articles do not give as strong a request for the reader to go to your website. These articles I have found get picked up by magazines and websites more readily.

Learn from Commenting
I will often post comments on articles. I always read the article to be a part of the conversation and I have learned a lot by reading. I read articles that are related to the subject of one of my websites. These are what I comment on.

Why Write? I write to learn.

I am a big fan of Ezine Articles. Why?

Simple answer. While playing around in the last few days —actually hard work. I built and submited 5 articles to several different directories. I won’t mention the other names but they are all the top rated in some of the top ten lists around.

Any way it is 4 days later. I just checked, and one of my ezine articles went through right away and two more went through a couple of hours ago. Traffic. The article that went through right away has already had 118 people look at it and 14 of them have gone to my website—this website—.

Pattee Canyon Missoula, Mt

I just checked some of the other directories. One of them all six articles are up. One article has been viewed 6 times one 5 and the others once. There have been a total of 16 people look at the articles and I believe 6 of those were the people who okayed the article.

Traffic to your articles is what Ezine articles offers.

How you write your articles matters. I think there are two ways to write an Ezine Article.

Going for the Click
One way is to go for the reader to click the link to go to your website. In the articles that I have gotten over 15 percent of the readers to go to my website I get very few uploads of the page to other sites. My best going for the click article so far got over a 40 percent click through rate. It was a freak. I have only written a few that have gotten over 25 percent but I am still going for the 40 percent click articles.

Going for the link
If you write a good informative article but do not push hard to get the reader to click to your website then more ezines and more websites will use your article on their site. This will get you more back links.

Going for both Clicks and Links
You can resubmit the article with a significant rewrite after a few weeks from your previous article being accepted. If your first article went for the click your second article can go for the link. It is fun to play with changing around the title to see what works better also.

Most Important Part of the article?
The author box is the most critical part of your article. Pull the curtain down and tickle them from behind the curtain. Make certain that they want to go to your website to scratch the itch you created.

I have started writing long author boxes. I put a link early in the box with the keyword for the article linking to one of my websites. I then write another informational paragraph. I then close it up with my name and the other link to my site. The first link becomes truly an in content link. According to the testing done by Jon Leger, Yahoo ranks a in content link higher than a link page link.

I have found Ezine Articles to be the toughest to get articles through. They are good practice for submitting articles because they force me to write better articles. Thanks EA..

IM by Rick is a dofollow Blog. I give you link love for your comments. Spread the word. Link love given from IMbyRick.com.
